When you think of people dropping the “F” bomb, most people associate that with the one that starts with an “f” and ends with a “k” (not fork). I was in my mid-thirties the first time I heard the word which made me turn beet red. In today’s culture that word can be heard in the movies, at the grocery store, sometimes on TV, and just plain walking down the street. It is a sad state of affairs when language is reduced to communication by a single syllable.

The arts have used the term “freedom of expression” to present every kind of filth and amoral depiction. The most disgusting paintings, sculptures, and movies are allowed to be presented in the name of “freedom of expression”. God forbid, an individual claim the same right.

Recently there have been reports of people who have expressed their opinions and had to suffer consequences, make apologies, lose their jobs, pay a fine. Who knew that America would become a country where “FREE” would mean free stuff from the government rather than free to speak your mind or free to worship as you choose, or free to disagree. The PC police (who the heck are they?) are systematically eroding free speech. Do you have an opinion that may have originated with a bad experience? Keep it to yourself or you might be called a racist. I think the real racists are the ones who are doing the flatulent and indiscriminate name calling. They are afraid of being perceived as bigoted so they go out of their way to  accuse others. Now for the oft misinterpreted crime of being a homophobe, clearly that accusation comes from someone who is a heterophobe. I think the most grievous charge is being assaulted as an Islamophobe. Perhaps they are Christianophobes or just want to proselytize. This country was founded on freedom of religion. Personally, I prefer a belief based on love and forgiveness not fear, retribution  and intimidation. We have never persecuted anyone for practicing their religion. A gray area is the Coptic Christian who was unjustly imprisoned to cover up the Benghazi scandal. Unfortunately, many Islamic  groups are using American freedoms to inject their way of life into our culture. Look here, I do not care what you believe as long as it does not infringe on my belief system or detract from America’s principles. Do not try to force your way of life on me. I am at peace with my Christianity and because of it, I will tolerate your ignorance of my beliefs without prejudice; allowing God to be the ultimate Judge.

Conversations should be a thought provoking forum; instead,  the never-ending lists of forbidden words is bringing us into a “phobic” state. There are no discussions  or personal choices, and the words you say can and will be used against you. The PC intimidates, incriminates and permeates our every thought. (Am I allowed to say that?) This is NOT freedom! And while, some people can be offensive in the words they choose, we can choose not to converse with them or patronize their endeavors. The choice should be ours and not some invisible being who declares there has been an infraction of language. Why have they not declared war on the real “F” bomb? It offends ME to hear language used so frequently which shows a deficiency of education by the user as well as a lack of respect for those within earshot.

America has developed a virtual “Gulag” designed to punish free speech. It is controlled by unseen entities who take umbrage at words they deem unacceptable.

Is that correct, comrade?

The 2007 neglect scandal at Walter Reed Army Medical Center ignited a firestorm of controversy and public outrage with the media reporting every area of concern. People were fired and replaced and an effort was made to correct the apparent failures. Seven years later and it seems that things concerning our veterans have only gotten worse. It is doubtful that this administration will improve the situation.

Wars ignited by politicians and bureaucrats are fought by American heroes and without these brave veterans, we surely would not have been able to maintain the freedoms of our land. Freedom to disagree with the wars that are fought, and freedom to dissent are secured by the readiness of our patriotic veterans who sacrifice life and limb. The ‘greatest generation’ gave their all in order to keep the war from our shores. They defeated would be invaders in bloody battles on many fronts. They have faced the enemy in every condition. They surrendered comfort for the sake of duty. They have placed their patriotic beliefs ahead of personal goals. These selfless heroes have come home to fight a war that they never imagined. Their training prepared them for combative environments; but how do you cope with an  invisible enemy in a battle that you do not even realize is being waged against you?

The horrific revelations of VA practices causes anyone of conscience to be filled with revulsion. How dare the administration consign these valiant people to a system that would dispose of them as if they were yesterday’s leftovers! How dare this government allow them to die while waiting for vital medical attention! And all of this, at a time when the blood sucking politicians give themselves the best possible medical attention. They are abominable!

The Hippocratic Oath says, “first do no harm” but VA doctors work for a government agency and must follow the protocol which is determined by agency regulations. The shame of the system is that the people in charge are vapid, soulless bureaucrats who do not seem to understand that those who need the VA services are America’s quiet heroes. The abuses inflicted upon them are most likely worse than the rigors of war they have already endured. Required medical attention should be administered with dignity and respect; instead these warriors for freedom are discarded while respect is given, with bonus, (is that where the extra VA money went?) to the overpaid administrators who gain their bonuses by gaming the system and, in essence, murdering the heroes who trust them. How can anyone be so evil and without conscience?

Liberals like to count the body bags of war in order to deter possible involvement in a conflict. How will they honestly count the number of fatalities from their own failures of administration? And how many more ordinary citizens will be counted similarly under Obamacare. After all, if politicians mistreat those who have defended and protected their rights, how much less regard will be given to us with the new government controlled healthcare. Take a number, America.

The Tonopah Solar Company in Harry Reid’s Nevada is getting a $737 million loan from Obama’s D.O.E.
The Project will produce a 110 Megawatt Power System, and employs 45 Permanent Workers.  That’s costing us just $16 million per Job.

EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD KNOW HOW THEIR MONEY IS BEING STOLEN.

Not wanting to be a rumor monger, I checked Snopes and Truth or Fiction. Both sites gave a “partly true” or “partly false” if you will. The semantics being caught up in “loan or loan guarantee” and 45 permanent workers, since it would obviously require more than 45 workers to build the facility; and the loan guarantee would only cost the government if the company defaults. Semantics be damned! My comment is: SOLYNDRA. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. The problem is that as ordinary citizens we are at the mercy of ruthless and greedy politicians and bureaucrats. The back room deals are criminal. The American people are tired of having to pay for corruption at the highest levels. The guarantees for these enormous loans should come from the politicians who make and are affected by the deal. If it goes bad, the politician should have to forfeit his pension and every other government benefit until the loan is repaid. God knows we already pay dearly for their perks. This is the equivalent of incurring a gambling debt and then forcing someone else to pay up.

No wonder we have an entitlement society; it is run by entitled politicians who never pay for their mistakes or take responsibility for their misdeeds. America is going bankrupt because of their greed for money and it is becoming morally bankrupt because of their greed for power. Vote them out, you say? I wish it were that easy. It appears that the votes of honest Americans are cancelled out and usurped by corruption in our voting system. My prayer is that “True the Vote” will bring us back to the Founding Fathers’ intended representation; both by its citizenry and by its constitution. God bless America.
